2022 Parish Council Minutes of Meetings

Opening of Meeting:

Cllr Sagar welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Apologies for Absence - Cllrs Mackenzie and Otter, District Cllrs K Cooke and R Trollope-Bellew.

2.

Election of Chairman of the Council for 2022/2023:

Cllr Smith proposed Cllr Sagar, seconded Cllr Brocklebank, all in favour.

3.

Election of Vice-Chairman of the Council:

Cllr Sagar proposed Cllr Smith, Cllr Brocklebank seconded, all in favour.

4.

Chairman (& Vice Chairman’s) declaration(s) of Acceptance of Office:

Cllr Sagar form completed - Cllr Smith form completed.

5.

To take note of actions arising from the Annual Parish Meeting, including consideration of any follow-up on the Parish Plan:

None.

6.

To agree Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 4th May 2021:

Cllr Smith proposed, seconded Cllr Brocklebank that the minutes were approved as a true and accurate record and signed as such, all in favour.

7.

Finance:

a) To approve the Annual Governance Statement by resolution

b) Consider Accounting Statements by members as a whole

c) Approve Accounting Statements by resolution

d) On approval Accounting Statement to be signed and dated

All approved - Certificate of Exemption form submitted to External Auditors.

8.

To agree and sign off Annual Internal Risk Assessment:

All in agreement for document to be signed.
