For readers of this website from further afield, Tallington is a small village of about 190 houses at the southern edge of Lincolnshire.  It sits astride the A1175 between Stamford and Market Deeping and alongside the East Coast Main Line, so many drivers have the opportunity to enjoy the views of the village while they wait at the Tallington level crossing!
