For the latest news from the Parish Council, please read on.

The Tallington Annual Parish Report was distributed to every household w/c 27th May. That report contained a summary of information on Drainage, Flooding and the Millennium Green works up to the end of May 24. It is available also on this website under Annual Parish meetings in ‘View all Council Business’.

There is now a Clothes and Shoe bank located in the Village Hall Car Park which will help raise funds to help maintain the hall. All are welcome to use it.

Please be aware that the Uffington bridge is going to be closed for up to 8 weeks from the 22nd July with a temporary road closure in place. Diversion signs will be in place.

The Wildflower meadow planted in the Spring on Millennium Green and dedicated to the memory of Wally Knox and Alan Thurlby is now in full bloom and looks magnificent. Thanks again to all involved.

With the appointment of a new parish clerk - Nicola parishclerk.tallington@gmail.com, we are moving the council meetings to a Wednesday evening in an attempt to avoid clashes with other local parish meetings to better facilitate the attendance of our district and county councillors.

The next meeting is Wednesday 24 July at 7.30pm.
